Mode A — perception
Why trust this? — method & sources
Verdicts are deterministic matrix lookups against verified corpus rows (India SWM 2026, NYC Local Law 19 of 1989 (§16-301 et seq.), England SI 2025/140) — not generated text. Perception runs once per image and is cached across jurisdiction switches. Every number shown here is real.
Why not just ask ChatGPT (or Gemini)?
A chat model gives its best guess from training-data pattern-matching — which can be a decade stale. WasteLens Global instead looks up current, verified law: India SWM Rules 2026, NYC Local Law 19 of 1989 (§16-301 et seq.), England SI 2025/140 — each cited to the primary source, not recalled from memory. The same photo gives the same answer every time (it is a lookup, not a fresh guess); where there is no verified match it says so and asks you instead of inventing a confident answer; and it rules the same object under three real jurisdictions at once — the one thing a single chat answer can never do on its own. The law decides, not the model's guess.
